I am thoroughly convinced the groundhog is wrong. I see snow on my ground, and the possibility with more coming. Seriously , the weather man has predicted it 3 times this year, and the 5th time he got it right. He is predicting more this weekend, but he is wrong. Spring is coming. Spring is coming!
I am so ready for the flowers to start blooming and I get to planting! I cleaned out some inside house plants, that were old. I chunked them. They were pretty, but no one wanted to take them. I have pots lined up around my back porch to grow some lavendar, herbs, and spices. I want some pepper juice to put into cans.
I plan to spruce up the front of my house. I want to get some window flower boxes. I always think they are so beautiful when I see them. I just never knew how to install the dang things. I have found a site that shows you how to install window plant boxes easily!
You can get a wooden window box, or a wrought iron one. I absolutely love the one with the copper base to it.
The weather in the south tends to be a little bit scorching in the summer. You can plant some begonias or some lantana in there. The lantana you would have to keep trimmed back a bit. You could even put some gerbera daisies in there, but they require daily watering.
I like my plants no fuss!
