I am so proud to say , I have lost 45 pounds since April, 15th. I actually had Orthognathic surgery on my mouth to correct my overbite. The procedure helped cure my migraines, sinus infections and TMJ. It will take almost 6 months to gain majority of my feeling back. During that time, i ate very basic foods. Whatever went through the syringe, blended with the magic bullet, or was bland. My taste buds were just not right. After about 6 weeks, I could open up a little and start to chew. what was my first destination? MCDONALDS!! The kids wanted some nuggets and to play. Now, mind you I still dont eat burgers, bread or hard chewy things. I cant and hopefully, I will soon. As soon as i ate my first fry and the nugget, all I could think of was excitement! Thank god, no more oatmeal, pudding, (no jello, it would pop out my mouth) blended concoctions and of course blended soup. It will take me a long time to eat any more soup.

The french fry, the nuggets and the ketchup was the saltiest crap, I have ever put in my mouth. I may as well dumped 18 salt packets in my jaws and slurped syrup. All I could think was, I am feeding my kids this mess. They are so used to it, because I gave it to them when they were little.

Well, we don’t eat at McDonald anymore. The kids are not to happy. I have been making smarter choices for them, and the closest to fast food is Wendys. They don’t quite salt there stuff AS bad.

So my eating choices have made me loose weight. Its like I was given a chance to clean my body of fast food for 6 weeks. I recommend it to anyone! Take a dare, DO IT.
