Each class I teach, I usually get asked the same question. It never fails! This post is dedicated to all of you!
How do you burn or make a copy of your DVD?
I make burned copys of my dvds because my daughter somehow finds herself with them wrapped around her fingers or tossing them in some random place. People ask me why don’t i put them somewhere. I ask them have you had a 3 year old before? Yeah, they are crafty creatures. I keep the copies in her room and the originals. Also copies are nice to take on vacation, because I have left a DVD or two. My daughter loves her Blue Clue’s shows and I don’t think she could live without it.
So there are few different ways you can actually copy dvds. There are several programs you can use. I am highlighting specific ones. I am specifically writing this post for PC users. There is a DVD-Ripper for Mac.
This dvd-ripper program is very easy to use and I like it. It rips different formats and converts them from different format to another.
Before you begin to start burning the movies, make sure you have a decent DVD burner. You need to make sure you have the right blank disc to burn it on.
When you get done with the process, you will have some discs that you messed up on. Its ok. We call them coasters and it happens to all of us!
